What you earn

When an exhibitor uses your show's code to get free scans, you earn 20% of every scan pack that exhibitor buys afterward — for up to 12 months after they used your code. You do not need to do anything else to earn it.

What "20%" is 20% of

App stores keep a cut of every purchase. Your 20% is counted on what is left after that cut. For example, on a $10 scan pack, the store keeps about $1.50, and you earn 20% of the remaining $8.50 — about $1.70.

How you get paid

• We add up what you have earned and write a statement for you on the 2nd of every month, for the month before.
• You can see your statements any time in Badge Studio, under "Your show report."
• We pay once you have $25 or more waiting. If a month earns less than that, it carries forward until it adds up.
• Payments are sent by hand, not automatically. If a payment is late, email us at info@scannly.app.

What we never show you

You only ever see totals — how much you earned and how many scan packs it came from. You never see who bought anything, or any exhibitor's name or contact info.

Refunds

If Apple refunds a purchase, we take it back out of your statement. If that statement was already paid, we will not ask for the money back — we just won't count that purchase again.

If something changes

We may update the share rate, the store-fee estimate, or the $25 minimum from time to time. If we do, it only applies going forward, never to a statement we already wrote. This page always shows the current terms.
